Accommodated Testing
Accommodated testing involves support and adjustments to the way that an exam is administered to make test-writing environments more accessible.

Step 1: Register with Accessibility Services
RDP students with documented disabilities can register with Accessibility Services to receive resources and accommodations to help achieve their learning outcomes.

Step 2: Book Accommodated Exams with Testing Services
To book an accommodated exam for a credit course:
- Log in to your Access+ Student Portal
- Click on the Schedule a Test or Exam icon and follow the on-screen instructions.
You must book your exam a minimum of seven days in advance to avoid the risk of a declined request. If not, alternative arrangements will be needed.

Step 3: Verify Your Exam Information
- Review the confirmation email sent 2 days before your exam.
- Check for additional accommodations based on instructor approval.
- If there are discrepancies, contact Testing Services by the day before the exam.
Note: Items not listed in the confirmation email cannot be permitted on the test day.

Step 4: Writing Accommodated Exams at Testing Services
- Arrive Early: Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled exam time with a valid photo ID (RDP iCard or government-issued).
- Personal Items: Store all personal items in a locker provided by Testing Services. Lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Seating: Once you've stored your items, take a seat and wait to be called by your locker key number.
- Review Instructions: When called, review the exam instructions with the Testing Services staff.
Note: Please follow all Testing Services staff guidelines throughout the process.
