Food Services on Main Campus
There are three locations for food service in Main Building (The Patch on the east end, The Marketplace near the central Main Entrance, and the Forum towards the west end), and two in the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre (Dimensions Café on the main floor and Fan Favourites on the second floor). Self- serve grab & go food and beverage kiosks are also available outside the Library in Main Building and nestled in Dimensions Café in the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre. In addition, traditional vending machines are available across Main Campus.
The Patch & Tim Hortons Express
Found just inside the East Entrance. The Patch is open for breakfast and lunch offering fresh grilled items as well as Canada’s favourite coffee and pastries.
Self-Serve Grab & Go Kiosk
Located just outside the Library. The new self-serve kiosk offers fresh food 24/7 including a variety of Subway sandwiches and Starbucks beverages.
The Marketplace
Located just inside and to the left of the Main Entrance and offers a wide variety of food and beverage options including:
- Starbucks: newly renovated full-service Starbucks
- Open Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm; Friday 7:30am - 3pm.
- The Local Grill House: serving grill favourites including hamburgers, fries and chicken tenders
- Open Monday – Friday 10:30am – 2:30pm
- Road Trip: a variety of fresh lunch options from around the world
- Monday – Friday 10:30am – 2:30pm
- Market Express: grab-and-go salads, sandwiches, and more
- Monday – Friday 10:30am – 2:30pm
- Subway: full-service Subway, featuring your classic subs, salads, soups and snacks

- Italian Cucina: offering a variety of pizza and pastas

The Far Side Bar & Grill and The Lift
When you need a break, a bite to eat, a cold beverage or just a place to visit. The Far Side is open. Pull up a chair, relax and enjoy a sporting event on TV with friends.

Inside and to the right of the Main Entrance near the Margret Parsons Theatre.
Tim Hortons full serve: enjoy a full-service Tim Hortons menu, featuring your favourite coffees, signature sandwiches, donuts and much more

Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre
Located on the west end of Red Deer Polytechnic's main campus, Dimensions Café and Fan Favourites offer a variety of self-serve, retail and special event food services.
Dimensions Café: enjoy a selection of delicious menu items including burgers, fresh sandwiches, salads, smoothies and a self-serve kiosk offering Subway favourites and Starbucks beverages.
- Retail service: Monday – Friday 10:30am – 2:30pm
- Self-serve grab & go kiosk: open during GWH operational hours.
Fan Favourites concession: serving hot and cold concession fan food such as burgers, nachos, popcorn and a variety of refreshing beverage options.
- Hours determined by events.
Vending Machines
For a quick snack or drink, vending machines are located throughout the Polytechnic’s main building and in the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre.
