Our Policies and Procedures

Red Deer Polytechnic policies & procedures help guide our actions as an organization.

Policies outline expectations of behaviour that apply to all members of the RDP community including, students, faculty & staff. RDP's policies & procedures also apply to third-party contractors, visitors and volunteers where appropriate.

Questions about the content of a particular policy or procedure should be directed to the Policy Administrator or Procedure Administrator as identified in the policy document.

The official version of any RDP policy or procedure is the electronic version published on this page.

FOIP & Privacy at RDP

Red Deer Polytechnic is subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act as a publicly funded institution. The FOIP Act allows any person the right to access records in the custody or under the control of RDP, subject to limited and specific exceptions. It also governs how RDP collects, uses, and discloses personal information.
