Catering
Tempt your tastebuds. We have a variety of food and beverage locations on main campus.
Through our partnership with Aramark, Red Deer Polytechnic also offers catering services for all types of events.
Regardless of the size or complexity of your event, our event services staff will customize the perfect catering and hospitality package that will be sure to satisfy your guests.
Audio/visual needs and other technology plays an important role in helping to achieve success with any event.
At RDP, we offer:
- High-speed wireless access for guests
- Multimedia presentation screens, projectors, podiums and microphones
- Video & telephone conference services
- State-of-the-art computer and network technology
Not tech-savvy? No problem.
In addition to RDP's equipment and technology service options, we provide optional skilled technical support:
- On-site technical assistance and orientation
- Audio/visual equipment set-up and tear-down
Equipment & Furnishings
Easels & Whiteboards
You may wish to rent our easels and whiteboards.
Costs:
- $5 per day for easel
- $10 per day for whiteboard
Description: Whiteboards are six-foot, on wheels; includes whiteboard markers and cleaning supplies.
Stanchion
You may wish to rent our stanchions.
Cost: $10 per day
Description: Stanchions are black and retractable.
Black Banjo Drape
You may wish to rent our draping.
Cost: $3 per foot
Description: Draping includes pipe. We offer draping that ranges from 6- to 12-feet high.
Cocktail Table
You may wish to rent our cocktail tables.
Cost: $15 per day for low-top tables $17 per day for high-top tables
- Low-top tables are 24 inches round by 30 inches high
- High-top tables are 30 inches round by 40 inches high
Description: Low-top and high-top tables have wood tops with metal bases.
Cocktail tables come standard with some venue rentals. For all other rentals, our team would be happy to provide you with a quote, depending on your requirements.
Table Linens
You may wish to rent our full-length linens, spandex table covers, tablecloths and/or table skirts.

Cost: $10 per day per table

Ticketing Services
Red Deer Polytechnic provides on-site, professional ticketing services for all events booked through any of our venues.
Our ticketing service is mandatory for all events booked. This provides an efficient, professional experience for all guests by ensuring the audience size does not exceed the venue's capacity.
We are happy to customize a ticketing package that meets your unique event needs.
Ticket Package Pricing
Events at Main Stage, Fas Gas - On The Run Gymnasium, Arena and Welikoklad Event Centre
General Admission or Reserved Seating Ticket
Cost:
- $100 - Initial contract set-up fee
- $25 per hour per Box Office staff member (minimum three-hour shift is required; customizable options available)
- $25 per hour per Gate Keeping staff member (minimum three-hour shift is required; customizable options available)
Please note, all events held in any Arts Centre facility are subject to our Facility Enhancement Fee of $2 per ticket.
All Other RDP Venues
General Admission Only
Cost:
- $100 - Initial contract set-up fee
- $25 per hour per Box Office staff member (minimum three-hour shift is required; customizable options available)
- $25 per hour per Gate Keeping staff member (minimum three-hour shift is required; customizable options available)
- $1.50 - $4.50 per ticket - tiered service fees (based on ticket price)
Red Deer Polytechnic is pleased to provide an optional Will Call service for your guest's convenience. Should you wish to include this option for your guests, the cost of $5 per order will be payable by your guests.

Event Service Coordinator
Our expert event planning coordinators are hands-on, so that you can take your hands off.
We help to ensure that your event runs smoothly from start to finish by overseeing all the technical and practical aspects of your event.
Our Experts
Sports Event Coordinator & Conference Coordinator
Our Coordinators offer comprehensive event management throughout the planning and execution to ensure the best experience for you and your guests.
Cost: $43 per hour (minimum three-hour shift is required)

Hospitality Services Coordinator
Our Hospitality Services Coordinator ensures services such as bartending, coat check, concession and ticket scanning run effectively and efficiently throughout your event.

Production Coordinator & Technical Staff
Our professional tech staff will get the job done right and rid you of your tech-related anxieties.
We have experience in producing almost any event under the sun. Our experiences include successfully producing awards ceremonies, comedy nights and corporate events. We've also coordinated orchestral performances, dance and full-scale theatrical productions.
Cost: $43 per hour per staff (minimum three-hour shift is required)
