RDP Welcomes New Director, Government Relations and Communications Strategy

Red Deer Polytechnic is pleased to announce that Michelle Mondeville will join the post-secondary institution’s leadership team as the next Director, Government Relations and Communications Strategy, starting on September 3.  

Michelle brings over 20 years of experience, working with all orders of government, and has held progressively responsible roles as a strategic communicator within government and post-secondary education. Most recently, she held positions as Director of Marketing and Communications with Concordia University of Edmonton and Executive Director, Corporate Communications with Alberta Innovates.   

Michelle holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications and Anthropology from York University, and is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the Canadian Public Relations Society where she served as a board member for the Edmonton Chapter for two years. She has also been an instructor at MacEwan University, focused on federal, provincial, and municipal legislative systems, regulatory issues, and non-profit sector lobbying.   

Currently residing in Sherwood Park, Michelle is looking forward to relocating to Red Deer this fall.
