Pónokaisissáhta Indigenous Student Centre Grand Opening

Join us at Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) as we celebrate the opening of Pónokaisissáhta Indigenous Student Centre, a space where culture, learning and community flow together on RDP’s main campus.

We’ll begin the festivities with a brief program, followed by an open house. 

During the open house, gather with us to enjoy warm bannock, light refreshments, Indigenous entertainment and good company. Festivities will spread across main campus, following the program:

• Billy Joesph, Métis Fiddler, will entertain everyone in the FarSide Bar & Grill, located near the Pónokaisissáhta Indigenous Student Centre.
• People can participate in storytelling around a campfire outside the Pónokaisissáhta Indigenous Student Centre.
