Twyla Hale has a Master of Public Administration (focusing on Policy) from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Human Resource Development and a diploma in Business Administration from the University of Regina as well as additional certificates in Occupational Health and Safety and NACLAA I and NACLAA II from the University of Alberta, and Queen's University Strategic HR Business Partner Certificate. She is a Certified Executive Coach and coaches leaders across Canada to enhance their performance, develop their skills and achieve their professional goals. Currently, she is working on her Master of Arts in Leadership with a specialization in Executive Leadership.

Twyla has over 20 years of work experience in all aspects of human resource management in both private organizations (small business and international organizations) and in the public sector, (municipal and provincial levels), unionized and non-unionized environments. She is currently the Senior Manager of People Services with the City of Lacombe, and her portfolio includes human resources, occupational health and safety and payroll. She is an AMSHA certified Safety Auditor. Twyla’s experience spreads across Western Canada having worked in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. In addition, Twyla has experience in the field of Emergency Management having led the provincial Disaster Recovery Program with the Alberta Emergency Management Agency, is a member of the Central Alberta All Hazard Incident Management Team and is a Deputy Director of Emergency Management for Lacombe.
