Biography
Janet has been a faculty member at Red Deer Polytechnic since 2019, teaching courses in Media Studies, Communications, and Academic Upgrading. She joined the Centre of Teaching, Learning and Scholarship in 2023 as a Learning Designer. Janet is a passionate, reflective and learner-focused educator who supports faculty in their teaching practices and develops curriculum to foster student growth and success. Her interests include adult pedagogy, curriculum design, student engagement, transformative learning, social justice and decolonization, AI and Universal Design for Learning.
