Biography

Isaac Nyamekye is the Executive Director of Institutional Planning & Research at RDP, where he leads the institution’s efforts to use data and evidence for strategic decision-making, continuous improvement and organizational growth. With over a decade of experience in higher education, Isaac’s expertise spans institutional research, analytics, project management, and integrated planning. He has played a pivotal role in designing and implementing data governance, reporting systems, and advancing the RDP’s Linking Evidence-based Analysis and Decision-making (LEAD) process. He is adept at facilitating organizational change, optimizing business processes, and aligning institutional priorities with long-term goals. Isaac is committed to advancing operational excellence and supporting the achievement of RDP’s strategic objectives through innovative practices and collaborative leadership.

Before joining RDP, Isaac was the Director of Institutional Research and Analytics at Athabasca University, where he led institutional research, planning and analytics. He also worked in various capacities at the Government of Alberta and the University of Alberta.

As a lifelong learner, Isaac holds multiple degrees and professional certifications, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree at Western University. His academic and professional journey reflects a commitment to innovation, transparency, and empowering others.
