Biography

Gail Wolski brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Red Deer Polytechnic as the Operations Manager for the Applied Research department.

An academic journey that includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, paired with a Bachelor of Arts in Culture and Communications from the University of Calgary, laid the foundation for Gail’s multifaceted professional career. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident through certifications in Project Management, Project Leadership, Economic Development and Business Analysis.

Gail's professional path began with part-time work at the Haskayne School of Business while at university, which sparked her interest in workforce development and community engagement. Bringing eight years of administrative and program coordination expertise from Okanagan College and Olds College, she transitioned to Red Deer Polytechnic's Teaching, Learning & Research department in 2022, joining the Applied Research team in 2023.

Providing support to the various teams within the Applied Research division, Gail strives to foster a collaborative environment among students, faculty and industry partners. She enjoys facilitating and nurturing the innovative and entrepreneurial ideas that thrive within the RDP community.
