Emily Alexander

Biography

Emily is a Red Deer Polytechnic alumni who graduated with a diploma in both the Practical Nurse and Business Administration programs. While attending RDP she was named to the President’s List where she also received the Louise McKinney and the Jason Lang scholarships. 

Since graduating in 2021, Emily has further advanced her education and training to receive both her certificate in Mental Health First Aid and advanced authorization in Hemodialysis. Emily’s primary focus in nursing has been working in both nephrology and acute care medicine. In 2023, Emily joined RDP as an instructor in the Practical Nurse Diploma and has thoroughly enjoyed sharing her love for nursing with students.
