Viktoriya Stuart

Biography

Viktoriya graduated from Odessa State Medical University in Ukraine in 2001. After her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, she worked at Brovary Reginal Hospital as an obstetrician for 3 years. She obtained certificates in genetic counseling during that time as well. 

After immigrating to Canada, Viktoriya decided to continue pursuing her career in health care and graduated from the Practical Nurse program at Bow Valley College in 2012. She worked in vascular surgery for 2 years prior to beginning her career as a nursing instructor at Bow Valley College. While working there she continued to work in Acute Care, vascular surgery and orthopedics. 

She moved to central Alberta to work at Red Deer Polytechnic in August of 2022. She is a faculty member with the  Practical Nurse Diploma. Her areas of teaching expertise include Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, Nursing Foundations and Maternity.
