Trevor Haddock
Trevor Haddock is proud to have started his post-secondary education at Red Deer College in the Bachelor of Commerce transfer program which he then completed at the University of Alberta. Trevor then completed the legacy accounting designation of Certified Management Accountant (CMA) while working as a student auditor with the Auditor General of Alberta. During his time as an auditor and later as a budget analyst, Trevor found opportunities to conduct in-house training courses and volunteered to teach English to newly arrived immigrants to get teaching experience. This eventually led him overseas to become a full-time accounting instructor, first in Vanuatu for 2 years and then Qatar for 19 years. In August 2022, Trevor returned to Canada with his family and was pleased to accept a position at the Donald School of Business, Science and Computing (DSBSC) where he teaches all levels of financial and management accounting.
During his career, Trevor has also demonstrated his commitment to life-long learning by first pursuing a Master of Education relating to online course development and delivery and then a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management. In the near future, he will complete the training to earn a Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma which focusses on continuous process improvement.
