Sawyer Wright

Biography

Sawyer is a registered nurse and nurse educator at Red Deer Polytechnic. She has worked in a variety of practice areas including surgical acute care, rural and long-term care. Sawyer has been an instructor at RDP since the fall of 2021, with a focus in the acute care courses. Sawyer pursued her certification as a clinical educator (CCCI) through the Canadian Association for Schools of Nursing (CASN) in 2022. Sawyer is currently pursuing her Master of Nursing Program at the University of Calgary, which she started in Fall 2023. Within this program, Sawyer will also receive two Advanced Nursing Practice Certificates, the first specializing in teaching and learning.
