Biography

William-Colton Sibold began his nursing career in 2011, where he developed a passion for addiction & mental health nursing. Over the years, he has worked as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, and Nurse Clinician in Canada’s Provincial, Territorial and Federal Correctional facilities, substance use detoxification & treatment centers, pediatric emergency mental health, community harm reduction & housing first programs, and rural/ arctic outpost healthcare settings. William-Colton advanced his Nursing Education by achieving a Master of Nursing from the University of Calgary in 2017, specializing in Nursing Education and publishing a guide for enhancing discussion-based learning in the post-secondary environment. 

William-Colton has volunteered internationally promoting mental health, immunization, sports, and human rights in Africa, Central Asia, and South America. He is an avid hockey player, dog owner, traveler, and floral designer. William-Colton is the proud parent of a Mental Health Service Dog named “Charlotte”, and is passionate about role of animals in mental health and addiction recovery. William-Colton has a specific interest in further studying and enhancing mental health & wellness within the trades, remote work camp, and aviation industries.
