Biography
Karyn Crawford brings a wealth of experience to the Applied Research department, cultivated through her work in research projects both locally and overseas. Her domestic resume includes collaborative endeavors with First Nations communities in Canada and engagements at various Canadian universities.
With a strong academic background, including both M.A. and M.L.I.S. degrees, Karyn enjoys the process of discovery involved in research. Her expertise positions her to provide invaluable support to Red Deer Polytechnic’s faculty and staff, focusing specifically on research grants. She's committed to ensuring the success of RDP in this competitive realm by facilitating and guiding the grant process.
Karyn's role as a Research Grants Specialist is distinct, focusing solely on the intricacies of research grants, offering specialized support that complements the efforts of the Research Common, Library, Deans and others involved in the broader research landscape.
